Our thanks to Rowan (we’ll also credit him on the air), a 10 year old who selected these next two teams – the 2023 Texas Rangers and the 1927 NY Yankees – for our next series.
Rowan is a baseball fanatic (reminds me of my oldest son when he was that age) as well as a true Ranger fan. I tried to talk him out of having “his” Rangers take on, perhaps the greatest team of all time, but Rowan stood by his conviction that his Rangers of 2023 will perform well. Given that background info, I now assume I’ll have most of you sentimentally rooting for the Rangers in this series. 😱
A HINT 🧐 about Friday’s trivia questions – they deal with the 8 teams in each league before both leagues first expanded “after the 1950’s,’” and then the immediate subsequent expansion in each league. 😖 (Another reason I say everything went down hill after the 50’s 🤣)
